Tottenham in hunt for Luis Fabiano

Harry Redknapp, the Tottenham manager, hinted last week that he may make one marquee signing, and he has been linked with the Seville forward, with a possible £18 million bid expected soon.
Fabiano, 29, has one year left on his contract and although he has insisted previously that he is happy in Spain, he could be tempted by the double offer of Premier League football and a Champions league campaign.

Dunga, the Brazilian coach, considers the player his first choice striker, ahead of a host of world class talents. Luis Fabiano has scored 25 times in 36 games for Brazil.
He scored for Seville in the 4-0 Uefa Cup win over Middlesbrough in 2006.
Although Redknapp has four strikers, he is keen to add firepower to his attack and the futures of Robbie Keane, Roman Pavlyuchenko and Eidur Gudjohnsen have all yet to be decided.
Another Spanish target for Redknapp, according to reports in Spain today, is Getafe midfielder Pedro Leon, who is also being courted by Real Madrid, Manchester City and AC Milan.
